Story behind the song
While playing acoustic guitar to a piano/bass/drums MIDI loop (or just making noise, as most would say) the main hookline just sorta happened. Liking what I heard, I recorded the idea, adding another acoustic arpeggio. After I had sorted out the acoustic guitars and "built" the song, I picked up my strat and, somehow, found the melody lines. All done first take. The only later additions are the "heavenly choir", a few splashes of cymbals and lastly the hammond organ, as the song starts to wave goodbye.
